John has extensive experience in brand management, innovation, and strategy. He spent 20 years in brand management with companies including Heinz, ConAgra, Sara Lee, and Chiquita Brands. During those years he successfully grew, repositioned, and extended brands in a variety of consumer package goods categories. His marketing experience includes consumer and customer marketing roles, building and leading marketing teams, general management, and new division start-ups.
After his client-side brand management career John joined the consulting firm of Landis Strategy and Innovation (LSI) where he led multiple client engagements for Fortune 100 companies resulting brand growth and new product launches. After three years in that role he took over leadership of the LSI consulting team and led it to record levels of revenue and profit. Following the acquisition of LSI by TNS Custom Research, John led the integration into the new company and stayed on as the Executive Vice President until October of 2016.
He has been a presenter at several industry conferences, including the Front End of Innovation, The Market Research Event, and the Retail Dietician Symposium.
