No idea is too big or too small. If you are ready to take action in building your dream, give us a call today!

Our industry is about breaking convention.

I'm afraid my idea might be considered "silly"

There are thousands of very successful products that have been considered “silly”. We have worked on projects that are “toys” and “tools” and several high tech medical devices. If you have done some market study about your product and you feel it has a future in the marketplace we should talk.

Do I need a business plan before I meet with you?

Business plans help, but you do not need one.  At the very least, you should do some basic research on your product and the marketplace to justify to yourself its potential.

How will my idea be protected?

Before we even speak with you about your idea, concept, or product we sign a mutual confidentiality agreement. Trust, confidentiality, and the security of your, and our intellectual and physical properties are of paramount importance to us. They are the foundation on which all our business is based.

Do I need a patent before I meet with you?

You do not need a patent, and we can actually help you get one if you do not have one.  We help you by creating all of the required drawings and prerequisites needed for patent filing.

How long does the process take?

It depends on what you are looking for us to do. Our services range from simply conceptualizing, to engineering development, sourcing, manufacturing, packaging, and marketing your product.

Do you typically "partner-up" with your projects?

We do the majority of our business on contract only relationships.  Occasionally, we will partner-up, but it depends on the willingness of our client and our desire and passion for your idea.

What kind of startup funds do I need to have in place?

You should consider $5,000 a starting point that accomplishes basic research of the product and market. We have brought products to market for as little as $10,000 and as much as $100,000. It really all depends on the product itself and the market it is to enter.

Do you provide resources like capital and legal advice?

We provide access to proven professionals we have had experience with. The relationships that may come from our introductions to trusted resources are proprietary and confidential between our resource and the client.

David Carson

President / CEO

David learned precision machining and production manufacturing process/techniques at young age from his father, a US Navy trained Tool & Die maker who founded a home based machining company called Carson Tool & Die, Inc. During his most formative years, David worked side-by-side his father at the family run business, and was ultimately able to create complex tooling and precision machined parts while meeting customer needs.
In 1988 David graduated with a Specialized Technology Degree in Mechanical Drafting & Design in Allentown, Pennsylvania where he served as class treasurer. After graduation David was hired by Eastern Engineering Associates, Inc., and worked as a designer/draftsman responsible for maintaining detailed engineering drawings used to manufacture tractor trailer chassis and brake systems for Mack Trucks, Inc.
Recruited in 1992 by Designer Services of the Treasure Coast, Inc., to fabricate, mold, develop, design and engineer prototypes for a wide range of pre-production products for IBM, Motorola, Beckman Coulter and many others. Gained expertise in soft tool mold design, refined machine design theory/skills, and learned the very latest rapid/traditional prototype and production processes first hand.
In 1995 David formed Drafting Designs (a full service contract design house), where he implemented a world-class quality management system and maintained two internationally recognized ISO certifications (ISO 9001-2000 & ISO 13485:2003 for medical device design and manufacturing). Heavily leveraging 3D solid modeling and rapid prototyping, Drafting Designs became a well known firm to the area supporting the design engineering and documentation needs for many surrounding manufacturing, product development firms, and residential home builders.
Sensing the changed economic climate and increasing desire of entrepreneurs to grow both high and low tech. product based businesses, David has re-emerged to focus on fulfilling all steps in transforming innovations into marketable products, has gathered gifted talent and entered into a new partnership quest known as Envision Product Development Group to further challenge his entrepreneurial capabilities and further devote himself to commercialization of new products internally and for others.

Envision came highly recommended, and I highly recommend them as well. They’re a one-stop-shop. They’ve got everything, top quality engineers who have worked on everything from projects with NASA to projects with local baseball teams, their staff is wonderful. Amazing company and great people.

Lee JonesH2Grow

Our project was floundering at another firm until we met with Envision. They worked closely with us in making sure the ergonomics, material selections, and mold design of our project worked the way we needed it to. We’ve been really happy with the direction everything went since they came on board.

Barry BerhoffShurhold Industries

When I met with Envision, they understood immediately what I was looking for. Instead of trying to tell me what I needed, they listened to what I needed and got the idea very quickly. With their help, we were able to speed up the development process immensely.

Mike CristoforoBeam Genie

Envision was extremely receptive and responsive through all phases of the design process. In four months we went from napkin sketch to show-quality prototype, developed a surgical protocol, and made photo-realistic images and renderings that truly impressed.
